Credentialing
We promote individual credentialing through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) for technologists seeking to attain the credential of Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and for physician interpreters seeking the Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) credential.
Laboratory Accreditation
We strongly encourage accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL) or the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL).
Continuing Education
We host continuing education seminars including case study reviews and journal club meetings. We are also experienced in planning educational seminars and conferences.
Quality Assurance
Ongoing quality assurance review is a vital component to confirm the accuracy of the diagnostic studies we perform. All staff participates in quality assurance activities and meetings.
Policies and Procedures
We provide assistance in the development of all laboratory standards including protocols and interpretive criteria.
Billing and Coding
We stay current with changes in coding rules and regulations. Guidance with the selection of appropriate procedural and diagnosis codes can be provided.
Laboratory Report Forms and Worksheets
We have laboratory reporting packages and worksheets available.
Community Service
Our company believes in supporting community events that foster public awareness of health issues. We have participated in local health fairs and community screening events. We can provide vascular disease screening information from national organizations such as the American Vascular Association.
Equipment
The leasing or purchase of quality ultrasound systems can be arranged through our affiliate company, the Diagnostic Mobile Imaging Group, Inc. In addition, physiologic testing equipment and peripherals such as printers and transducers can be purchased.
